Basic Policy on Anti-Social Forces
We hereby declare our basic policy on anti-social forces to ensure the appropriateness and soundness of our business operations by resolutely blocking and eliminating any relationship with anti-social forces.
Cutting off all relationships, including business transactions
We shall not have any relationship, including business transactions, with antisocial forces. We also reject any unreasonable demands from antisocial forces.
Prohibition of backroom deals and provision of funds
Even if undue demands from antisocial forces are based on misconduct in business activities or misconduct of officers or employees, we will not engage in backroom deals to cover up the matter. In addition, we will not provide funds or favors to antisocial forces in any form.
Organizational Response
We shall establish a basis in our rules and regulations for dealing with antisocial forces, and shall not leave the responsibility for dealing with antisocial forces solely to the person or department in charge, but shall deal with such forces as an organization as a whole, starting with the representative director. In addition, we will ensure the safety of officers and employees who respond to unjustified demands from antisocial forces.
Cooperation with External Specialized Agencies
In preparation for dealing with antisocial forces, we shall establish close cooperative relationships with outside professional organizations such as the police, the National Center for the Elimination of Boryokudan, lawyers, etc., and respond as necessary in cooperation with them in the event of unjustified demands.
Civil and Criminal Legal Responses in Case of Emergency
We will proactively take legal action, both civil and criminal, against unjustified demands by antisocial forces.
